Together, these ingredients create a treat that nourishes instead of depleting – antioxidants for your cells, fats for steady energy, protein for satiety, and just enough sweetness to feel like a ritual, not a compromise.

Ingredients
300g full-fat (10%) Greek yoghurt 5 tbsp organic coconut flakes 2 tbsp ground almonds 10 raspberries, lightly crushed A splash of vanilla extract 75g 70% dark chocolate, melted
Method
In a bowl, mix the yoghurt, coconut flakes, ground almonds, raspberries and vanilla until fully combined. Spoon the mixture into 8 small mounds or “bites” on a lined tray. (Mine were more rustic thanks to holding Nyla at the same time.) Place in the freezer for 20–30 minutes until firm. Melt the dark chocolate. Remove the bites from the freezer and dunk each one into the chocolate until coated. Transfer to the fridge for around 20 minutes to set. Store in the fridge and grab as needed.
They keep beautifully for a few days and taste even better cold.
70% Dark Chocolate
Dark chocolate is packed with polyphenols and flavonoids – powerful antioxidants that help combat inflammation and oxidative stress in the body. It’s also known to support circulation and brain function, and it gently boosts serotonin, which is why it genuinely lifts your mood. Using a higher cocoa percentage keeps sugar lower while still giving that indulgent, satisfying feel.
Coconut Flakes
Coconut is rich in medium-chain fats that the body uses quickly for energy rather than storing. These healthy fats slow digestion, helping you feel full and satisfied for longer. That’s what makes these bites feel grounding rather than triggering a snack spiral.
Ground Almonds
Almonds are full of vitamin E (brilliant for skin and cellular health), magnesium for nervous system support, and a blend of protein and fat that steadies blood sugar. They help turn these into a proper snack rather than a sweet hit.
Raspberries
Raspberries are low in sugar but high in fibre and antioxidants. They support gut health, help balance glucose levels, and bring a natural brightness to the bites. Their polyphenols also support skin and immune health.
Greek Yoghurt (10%)
Full-fat Greek yoghurt is rich in protein and probiotics. The protein supports muscle repair and satiety, while the healthy fats help slow digestion and keep blood sugar stable. It’s what gives these bites their creamy body and makes them genuinely filling.
Vanilla Extract
Vanilla isn’t just flavour – it supports digestion and allows you to create sweetness without needing extra sugar. It softens the whole mix, making it feel indulgent while staying balanced.
